Peachstate Aerodrome (GA2), Griffin, GA – site of the February 27, 2015 Vintage Board of Directors Meeting and open Vintage Town Hall
SAVE THE DATE – FEBRUARY 27, 2016. At their regular fall board meeting in November the Vintage Board of Directors voted to hold an additional winter board meeting in the Atlanta, GA area.
Our board discussed the fact that Oshkosh can be a difficult and expensive destination for both board members and VAA members who do not live in the midwest but wish to attend and share their suggestions with the board. In discussing this idea, board members agreed to schedule a winter meeting outside the midwest region with the hope that nearby members will attend. Board members and advisors will all be traveling at their own expense.
The Saturday board meeting will be followed by an informal open Vintage Town Hall Meeting where VAA members and board members can share ideas and get to know each other better.
We are delighted to announce that our special guest for the day will be Jack Pelton, EAA Chairman of the Board and recently named CEO of EAA.
Vintage Board member Ron Alexander will be hosting the February 27th event at Peachstate Aerodrome (GA2) near Atlanta (roughly an hour south of ATL).
