Application to Become a Vintage Judge

Becoming a judge for the Vintage Aircraft Association is one of the highest honors a volunteer can attain. Becoming a judge is a multi-year full convention activity. Applicants for a judge can pre-qualify by completing and submitting the form below. Our judges work in teams. During their first year at AirVenture a new judge will shadow experienced judges and then be assigned to partner with an experienced judge. This is not a job for a first-time volunteer. Judges commit to being in attendance and working Monday through Saturday of AirVenture.
