The VAA Bookstore was created as a way to help raise funds for the Vintage Aircraft Association and give aviation enthusiast a way to share their book collections with others. We take donations throughout the year and re-sell the books at reasonable prices so that others can enjoy them. Help us spread the word about our awesome Bookstore by liking and sharing our Facebook page @Vintage Aircraft Association Bookstore

VAA Bookstore Hours
The VAA Bookstore is open Monday through Saturday* 9 a.m to 5 p.m. the week of AirVenture
The VAA Bookstore is a great place to volunteer during AirVenture! You can sign up for one shift or as many as you like throughout the week. Shifts are two hours long, and you get to be in the coolest place at AirVenture- the air conditioned bookstore! Your responsibilities will include taking payment for purchases (cashier) and watching the store. We will be happy to do a brief training on record keeping and how to process cash and credit card purchases. Shift schedules are as follows:
9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m
3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m
We would not be able to have a bookstore without the support of our aviation friends and donors. We have categories that include The Golden Age, Pre-War, Post-War, Juvenile/Young Adult, Biography, Manuals/Technical, Better Books, paperbacks and more. We collect aviation books and magazines year-round. To donate, drop off your books during the week of AirVenture at the Bookstore (Mon-Sat 9AM to 5 PM) or mail them to:

We’re looking for aviation authors to showcase and sell their books on the front porch of the bookstore throughout the week. We ask that you bring several copies of your books and be willing to autograph the copies for anyone that requests it. Space is available for 2 authors each day, 4 hour slots from 9AM-1PM and 1PM to 5PM daily. Please contact Jennifer Feaster to schedule at email@example.com
