AirVenture Oshkosh 2014 Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) now available
The Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) for EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2014 is available for download here.
The NOTAM, which is in effect from 6 a.m. CDT Friday, July 25, through noon CDT on Monday, August 4, 2014, outlines procedures for all aircraft that fly to Oshkosh for the event, as well as the aircraft that land and depart at nearby airports. The seaplane base, Appleton, and Fond Du Lac airports are included in the Special Flight Procedures.
This NOtAM was designed by the FAA in partnership with EAA to assist pilots in their flight planning and is required reading if you’re flying your aircraft to AirVenture.
If you are flying a Vintage aircraft and intend to park or camp in the Vintage area, please review the ground procedures here for taxiing to the Vintage area once you have landed.
While the overall procedure is similar to past years, pilots should review the entire NOTAM before departing for the Oshkosh area.
Pilots are required to adhere to all published OSH arrival and departure procedures and to all ATC instructions. The EAA AirVenture Oshkosh NOTAM does not supersede restrictions pertaining to the use of airspace contained in FDC NOTAMs. Please check current NOTAMs by calling Flight Service at 800-WX-BRIEF.
